5. Diary Entry Hey, today I´m going to discuss, which elements of the book I enjoyed and which parts are different from what I expected. First of all, I'd like to talk about the perspective. It leads you through the story with a perfect balance between Clay's realtime experience and Hannah, who tells her story from the tapes. Secondly, there are the characters, almost all of them are evolving in their own way throughout Hannah's and even Clay's story. Everyone can tell his own story and has an actual background, that can explain their action in the book. Furthermore, I must confess, that this is really the only book without many action elements, that I really liked and enjoyed. But there is also a thing, I'd consider improvable and that's the role of the school itself.
